He is survived by his wife, Virginia Cantrell Aldridge of Beaverton, AL., 2 daughters, Veneta (Howard) McKinney of Dallas, TX., and Kerri (Jerry) Shoemaker of Leeds, AL.; and 1 Son, David ( Marcie) Aldridge of Talladega, AL.; 2 grandchildren, Michael and Caleb McKinney; 6 sisters, Polly Chambless and Lee Cantrell of Beaverton, AL., Faye Cantrell of Oneonta, AL., Linda McFee of Brunswick, GA., Jannette Spann of Winfield, AL., and Margie Kingsley of Killen, AL.; and 1 brother, Gene Aldridge of Kilgore, TX. Ms. Brumley was born February 3, 1913, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Oscar Clifford and Maude Evieleen Gunnin Frederick. She was a Retired School Teacher. She taught in Wiginton School for 16 years then in Michigan for 19 years. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Hackleburg, Alabama.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Freda (Donald) White; 2 granddaughters, Dawn White, and Nikol (Brandon) Keeton; great-grandchildren, Cortney (Michael) Kennedy Johnson, Skyler Deaton, Andrew Keeton, and Logan Keeton; great-great-grandchildren, Addilyne Johnson and Maddox Johnson; 1 sister, Bethel (Chavis) Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester White Brumley; brothers, Clovis Frederick and Thamer "Tommy" Partain; sisters, Mary Partain Raffel, Inez Partain Duncan, and Lillie V. Partain Smith; sons, David Frederick and Eddie Frederick; step-brothers, Travis Partain and Reeves Partain; great-grandchildren, Harlie, Kamille and Kiya Johnson.
