Mr. Holcomb was born October 9, 2010, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the the late Emory Andrew and Emily Ella Fuller Holcomb. He worked in Electrical repair.

He is survived by 3 sons, Wayne, Robert, and Donald Holcomb; 1 daughter, Jean Jones; grandchildren, Barry, Larry, and David Holcomb, roy and Douglas Jones, Andrew Holcomb and Hedi Hislope; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter, Eden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Andrew and Emily Ella Fuller Holcomb; 1 brother; and 1 sister.

Vernon "Jack" Lindsey, age 92, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Lindsey was born October 1, 1917 in Marion County, Alabama to the late Chester and Dovie Loden Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife Loree "Ree" Tice Lindsey; 4 children, Dale (Tommie) Watts, Debbie (Mike) Millican, Dolores (Gary) Garrett, Candy (Dewayne) Beasley, and Cyndi (Zane) Yielding; 11 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

Personal note:

If you are older like me, you will remember Mr. "Jack" Lindsey when he owned the Piggly Wiggly down east of Hamilton where the RAMP now resides. He also served the city of Hamilton, Alabama as a city Council person. He was always interested in the progress of Hamilton. He will be missed greatly . Mr. Rayvon "Ray" Webb

Rayvon "Ray" Webb, age 75, of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, (formerly of Marion County, AL) passed away Monday, September 20, 2010, at the UAB West Hospital. Visitation, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home Funeral Home. Funeral service 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2010, Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dean Pesnell officiating. Rayvonn Webb was born March 9, 1935, in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Felix Anderson and Edna Lindsey Webb. He worked 43 years at Thompson Fabricators in Tarrant, Alabama as a machinist, welder and plant supervisor. He made several machines which were used in his work. He always looked for a better way to do things. For several years, he taught welding at Brewer State College (now Bevill State Community College) in Sumiton, Alabama. His greatest joy was his music, making his own guitars and sound equipment. He loved playing country/western music. He hand-made beautiful guitars and he always loved showing his latest musical creation. His band, The Country Blends, played senior citizens dances around the Birmingham, Alabama area for many years, and his music was known and loved by a multitude of people. He was a member of the Masons. He is survivored by his companion of 20 years, Amy; 3 sons, Allen (Ming) Webb, Adamsville, Alabama, Darrell Webb, Warrior, Alabama, and Timothy "Tim" Webb, Birmingham, Alabama;2 daughters, Pam (J.L.) Hall, Gardendale, Alabama, and Tammy Webb, Leeds, Alabama; 2 step-children, Jamie McLeod, and Starlette (Marty) Webb, both of Pleasant Grove, Alabama; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Johnnie McGuffie, Birmingham, Alabama, and Dora (Harold) Jones, Hamilton, Alabama; 1 brother, Harold "Bill" (Martha) Webb, Hamilton, Alabama; 1 sister-in-law, Faye Webb, Winfield, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
