A Celebration Honoring the Life of Mrs. Ola Mae Duncan. Faithful, fun, humble,

loving, social, and spirit filled are words that describe Mrs. Ola Mae Duncan,

who was born April 16, 1919 and entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2008. Her

presence will be greatly missed. Mrs. Ola Mae Duncan was married to the late Mr.

Joe Duncan, and their union was blessed with one caring son, Kenneth Duncan.

During her career, Mrs. Duncan worked as Rosie the Riveter building airplanes

during WWII. As she journeyed through life, Mrs. Duncan positively touched the

lives of many people. She possessed a profound love for family, friends and

Alabama football. Mrs. Duncan enjoyed life and the many opportunities it granted

her to spend time caring for her flowers whose bright hues complemented her

personality, and showering family and friends with love and adoration. She also

enjoyed spending time with animals. A recent friend Mo, a cat, truly misses her

companionship. Mrs. Duncan enjoyed a faithful membership at Wilkes Baptist

Church, where her service unto God uplifted the spirit of others. On this

Christian journey, life grants us many opportunities. We are so thankful that

Mrs. Ola Mae Duncan chose to be a humble servant. Even though her time on earth

has come to an end, Mrs. Ola Mae Duncan's memory will be cherished by her

devoted son, Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Councilor Carol Duncan; a loving sister,
