Ms. Anglin was born March 13, 1923, in Marion County, Alabama to the late Dennis and Della May Lawler Smith.

Ms. Brown was born November 9, 1921 in Marion County, Alabama to the late Joe E. and Samantha Post Nix.

She is survived by 1 son, Bill Brown; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Heflin Brown; her parents, Joe E. and Samantha Post Nix; and Jimmy Wayne Brown.

Mr. Cash was born October 12, 1941, in Fayette County, Alabama, to the late Ira Gardner and Lessie Freeman Cash. He was a native of Lamar County, Alabama and was a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a History and an English teacher at Tuscaloosa Junior High School, Assistant Principal at Tuscaloosa County High School, and Principal at Winfield City High School, Talladega High School, and South Lamar High School. He was a member of the Lamar County Retired Educators Association and the West Alabama Service Club. He was a member, Deacon and Sunday School Class Teacher at Kennedy Baptist Church. He also participated in several mission trips to Chile. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn Vick Cash; 1 daughter, Valerie Michelle (Keith) Birge, Bradley, IL.; 1 son, Charles David Cash, Baltimore, MD.; 3 sisters, Cherry (Al) Pickett, Montevallo, AL., Jane (Wolfgang) Cooper, Punta Gorda, FL., and Faye Howell, Macon, GA.; 1 brother, Mark (Betty) Cash, Douglas, WY.; and 1 grandchild, Zach Birge.

Guy Hughes Clark was born April 3, 1926 in Hamilton, Alabama to the late Robert Franklin and Nellie Hughes Clark. He was a retired Truck Driver and he was a Baptist.

Grace Inez Pritchett Farr

Grace Inez Pritchett Farr, 93, died July 12, 2010.

Born in 1916 in Hodges, Alabama, Grace Farr grew up there and attended Wiginton School, graduating from Hackleburg High School in 1938. She was Valedictorian of her ninth grade class and senior class historian at Hackleburg High.

Mrs. Farr lived in Russellville for a number of years after high school where she worked at V. J. Elmore's Store, and where she met and married James "Buddy" Farr in 1952. She later moved to Hamilton and was a resident of Hamilton for 50 years. She was an Avon representative for 23 years. She won numerous sales awards during her career. She was also a Tupperware dealer for a number of years.

Mrs. Farr was a dedicated member of the Hamilton Church of Christ from 1966 until her death. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and volunteered as a Grey Lady at the Hamilton Hospital and nursing home for many years. She was active in the Hamilton Home Demonstration Club for 30 years.

In recent years she was a resident of Consult American of Carbon Hill and Birmingham Nursing and Rehab.

Mrs. Farr was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Lois Vickery Pritchett, and father, Sterling Thornton Pritchett, sisters: Lucille Baker, Cornelia West, Flara V. Webb, brothers: L.D. Pritchett, W.T. Pritchett, Thomas Pritchett, J.C. Pritchett. She is survived by her daughter Patricia F. Ryan and son-in-law David Ryan (Birmingham); sister Luna Hudson (Jasper), and brothers Eugene Pritchett, Sterling Pritchett (Forestdale), and R.C. Pritchett (Cahaba Heights); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 14, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Church of Christ, with funeral service following. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Hodges, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hamilton Church of Christ ministries or library, or Hamilton Public Library.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Diane (Lee) Doughty; 2 sons, Curtis (Betsy) Granzow and Brian Granzow; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Editor's Note : Deb was the widow of Arleigh Granzow who passed away October 5, 2009. Arleigh and Deb enjoyed each other. Arleigh worked with his wood-work and helped Deb with gardening. Deb had many beautiful flowers and loved to show her friends and visitors around her gardens. A lovely lady and gentleman, I am proud to have called Deb and Arleigh my friends.
