Clara Mae Cockrum Anglin, age 84, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010, at her residence.

Ms. Anglin was born November 12, 1925, in Red Bay, Alabama to the late Eli Harrison and Nettie Ann Elizabeth Yielding Cockrum.

She is survived by 1 son, Tommie Hubert Anglin; 2 daughters, Sharon Shaye Szeman-Vaught, and Gloria Anglin; 2 brothers, Bobby Cockrum, and Lewis Cockrum; 2 sisters, Sara Scott, and Elizabeth Haynes; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Henderson Anglin; her parents, Eli and Nettie Cockrum; 1 daughter, Beverly Jane Anglin; 3 Sisters, and 6 brothers.

LaVonne Duke Collins, 72, a resident of Fairhope, AL, died Monday, August 23, 2010. (She grew up in Hamilton, AL) She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Collins, her parents, C.W. and Fleeta Duke, of Hamilton; sister Drexel Duke Coons and brother Herschel C. Duke. Survivors include two sons, Joseph (Carolyn) Collins, Austin, TX and Russ (Kimberly) Collins, Columbus, MS; sister Gail (John) Duke Holmes, Florence, AL; brother Phil (Pat) Duke, Hoover, AL; and numerous other relatives and friends. Interment is at Memory Gardens of Fairhope, AL. Memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Church, 300 S. Section Street, Fairhope, AL 36532.

She is survived by her son, Mike Grissom (Kim), one grandson, Luke Grissom, all of Hackleburg, sisters Dora (Jones) Bratto (Sam) of Phil Campbell, Essie V.
