She was born on May 17, 1909 in Lawrence County to Marion and Dellie Braswell. Visitation will be held on Friday August 18, 2006 from 6-9PM at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Hubbert, Sarah Pearl Davis, 91, formerly of the Hubbertville Community in Fayette County, died August 1, 2006 in Montgomery, AL.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2006, at the Hubbertville Church of Christ at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Hubbertville Church of Christ Cemetery with Nelson Funeral Home of Fayette directing. The Reverend Phillip Black will officiate.

Mrs. Hubbert is survived by her son Dr. Paul R. Hubbert and his wife Ann of Montgomery. Sisters: Annie Ruth Williams (Tullahoma, Tenn.), Emeral Bonds (Talladega, AL), and Estell Cook (Birmingham, AL) Grandchildren: Dr. Threasa Hubbert Frouge and husband Dr. Chris Frouge of Phoenix, Arizona, and Dr. Yolanda Hubbert Zink and her husband Dr. Tom Zink of Montgomery, AL. Great-grandchildren: Rebecca Reiman and David Reiman of Phoenix, Arizona, and Max Zink and Zoe Zink of Montgomery, AL.

Mrs. Hubbert is preceded in death by her husband Virgil Hubbert and parents T.B. and Lula Hamilton Davis. She was born January 2, 1915 in Anniston, Alabama. Pallbearers include Grant Davis, Earnest Ray Jordan, George Hubbert, Wallace Hubbert, Thurman Hubbert, and Tom Hubbert.
