Jimmie Louise Clark Lindsey, age 88, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 at Dogwood Plantation, Fulton, Mississippi.

Jimmie was born in Pearce's Mill, Marion County, Alabama, September 17, 1918, to the late James Cornelius "Jim" and Minnie Hester Owsley Clark.  She was the widow of the late Woodrow Wilson Lindsey.  She was retired from the Dept. of Pensions & Security, and a 1937 graduate of State Secondary Agricultural School (Former name of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, AL).

She is survived by 1 sister, Elaine Clark (James Roy) Cashion; 12 nieces and nephews; a host of great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Lindsey; her parents, Jim and Minnie Clark; 4 brothers, Audrey Clark, Orville Clark, Willard Clark, and Henry Clark; 1 sister, Margaret Clark Bostick; 4 nephews, Donald Clark, Keith Clark, Tom Clark, and Michael Bostick.

Honorary and active pall bearers; James Larry Clark, Ronny Clark, Frank Clark, Gary Clark, Jimmy Cashion, Allen Cashion, Bryant Cashion, Patrick Cashion and Daniel Ritchie.

William Henry Cantrell, age 82, of Alexander City, Alabama, formerly of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Alabama.

Mr. Cantrell was born March 10th, 1925 in Alabama to the late Dan Henry and Myrta Yielding Cantrell.  He was a retired Construction and Heavy Equipment Operator.

Mr. Vecil Crow, age 75, of Algood, Tennessee, formerly of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away, Thursday, September 6th, 2007 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Crow was born December 13th, 1931, in Marion County, AL. to the late Anderson and Odell Delaney Crow.  He was a member of Algood United Methodist Church and was retired from International Harvester.  Mr. Crow retired to Algood TN. in 1995 after 40 years in Zion, IL.

Perry, Audrey Chambless - Age 88 - Winfield, AL

Mrs. Audrey Chambless Perry, age 88 of Winfield, passed away September 2, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Perry was born on June 23, 1919 in Fayette Co. a daughter of Lester and Maudie Hollingsworth Chambless; resident of Winfield most of her life and a member of White’s Chapel Church of Christ. She loved people; enjoyed a house full of kids and grandkids, fishing, Braves baseball and Alabama football. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Reathie W. Perry; a daughter, Reathie Joan Estes; a grandson, Marcus Jay Ballinger; and three brothers, Aubrey, Allison and Anderson Chambless. Survivors include three sons, Tony (Susan) Perry of Tuscaloosa, Jerry (Sheila) Perry of Winfield and Bobby Gene (Sheila) Estes of Hamilton; three daughters, Doris (Tom) Hubbert of Hubbertville, Belinda (Edwin) Ballinger and Donna (Howell) Smith of Winfield; 13 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren with 2 on the way; sister, Ava Lee Estes of Fayette; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ms. Isabell Bolin McKay, age 84, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away, Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, Alabama.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, September 6, 2007, 1:00 p.m. from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Henson Springs Cemetery.  Bro. Robert McKay and Bro. Roger Reedus officiated.

Pallbearers were Richard Moore, Anthony Moore, Al Moore, Michael McKay, Randy McKay and Nick Smith.  Honorary pallbearers were Jason Smith, Jessie McKay, Terry McKay, and Edward McKay.

Ms. McKay was born on March 24, 1923 in Monroe County, Mississippi to the late John and Beulah Rhudy Bolin.  She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  Ms. McKay enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Survivors include 6 sons, Loyd (O.B.) McKay, Hamilton, AL., Floyd McKay, Hamilton, AL., Daniel (Barbara) McKay, Hamilton, AL., Roy Lee (Sharon) McKay, Hamilton, AL., James Troy (Mary Ann) McKay, Sulligent, AL., and Coy (Bobbie) McKay, Beaverton, AL.; 3 daughters, Shirley (Jerry) Waid, Sulligent, AL., Rachael Lockhart, Sulligent, AL., and Diane (Bill) Smith, Hubbertville, AL.; 1 brother, George Bolin, Sulligent, AL.; 30 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and a host of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beulah Bolin; her husband, James McKay; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; 5 grandchildren; 1 daughter-in-law; and 2 sons-in-law.

Ms. McKay was the mother of  Roy Lee McKay, a police officer in Hamilton, AL.

Girthie Woods age 91 of Hamilton, AL died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 in the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, AL.

Born in Marion County, Alabama. She is the Daughter of the late Dee Curtis and Aldie Lela Forrester Ballard and the Wife of the late M. H. Woods. She had lived in the Barnesville Community most of her life and was a member of the Barnesville Free Will Baptist Church and had been a Nurses Aid.

She is survived by 3 Sisters, Cleeta Ward of Hamilton, AL, Emalene Thorne of Russellville, AL and Curtis Faye Heppe of Peoria, IL, and A Brother, Worlie Ballard of Spanish Fort, AL. Several Nieces and Nephews.

She was also preceded in death by 4 Sisters and 7 Brothers.

Services held Friday, September 7, 2007 at 3:00 PM from the Barnesville Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the Barnesville Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Fleming and Bro. Woodrow Matthews officiating.

Donning Lott, age 54 of Winfield, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2007 in the Huntsville Hospital. Donning was born on September 25, 1952 in Blytheville, Arkansas a son of Henry Thomas and Maxine Cantrell Lott; resident of Winfield for past 30 years; retired from Home Building and Truck Driving; and his church affiliation was Baptist. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step- father, Cecil Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Joann Wood Lott of Winfield; one son, John (Denise) Coker of Winfield; one granddaughter, Ashley Haynes; mother, Maxine Taylor; three brothers, Ricky (Denise) Lott of Jonesboro, AR, Ronnie (Susan) Lott and Gregory Lott, both of Winfield; three sisters, Jackie (Ronald) Bianchi of Fort St. Lucie, FL, Connie (Jeff) Wales of Athens, AL and Bridgett (Wyman) Reeves of Winfield; 14 loving nieces and nephews; four great-nieces; and a special animal friend, "Speedy". Ray, Flety Inez - Age 75 - Hackleburg, AL

Flety Inez Ray, age 75, of Hackleburg, Alabama, died Thursday, September 13, 2007.

A memorial service will be held Monday, September 17th, at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Hackleburg, with Hulon Bishop and Steve Lawrence officiating.

Flety was born November 12, 1931, in Florence, Alabama.  She attended local schools, graduating from Hackleburg High School.  She married Owen Ray on April 16, 1950.  Flety and Owen moved to Adrian, Michigan, where they resided for many years, raising their two sons, Ed and Brad.  They returned to Hackleburg in 1995, where they lived in their home on Baker Street and enjoyed renewing many old friendships.  Owen preceded Flety in death in February, 2006.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Stanley Taylor, and her brother, Wayman Taylor.

Survivors include sons, Edward Wade (Kathy) Ray and Thomas Bradley (Tamara) Ray; five grandchildren, Monica (A.J.) Alsup, Liza Ray, Natalie Ray, Sylvie Ray, and Nicholas Ray; one great-granddaughter, Adilade Alsup; a brother, Robert Taylor, and sisters, Daris Stephens (Carl), Rena White, and sister-in-law, Willa Grace Taylor.  Flety is also survived by her Ray Family sisters and brothers-in-law, Guynell Sanders (Gay); Mildred Hire Fleming (Addy); Ann Vickery (Crockett), Paul Ray (Gracelyn); Wayne Ray (Lela), Max Ray (Carol); Jimmy Ray (Jean), and numerous nieces and nephews from both the Ray and Taylor families.  Flety also enjoyed the love and support of her neighbors and friends, especially Ron and Gayra Nichols.

Flety was a kind, nurturing person who loved to help others.  Her time spent working with runaway girls at a state facility in Michigan is only one example of her giving spirit.  She was a delightful lady who brightened up the lives of all those who came in contact with her - always ready to provide a visitor with a kind word, a funny story, or a hot meal.  She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Bobby M. Bryson

SULLIGENT, Ala. - Bobby M. Bryson, 73, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at his home. He was born Jan. 3, 1934, near Brighton, Tenn., to the late Marshall and Audra Yarbro Bryson. In 1945 he moved to Covington, Tenn., and in 1968, to Tupelo. Trained as a welder, he worked in Tupelo with a structural steel building company. In 1970 he moved to Vernon, Ala., and became an independent contract welder specializing in oil field service work and became a master in his trade. In 1990 he joined the car business and operated a lot near his home in Sulligent until recently. He was a Baptist. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, going to car auctions, working in his garden, and "Memphis Beat" music. He enjoyed life itself and always lived it as an adventure for himself and those around him.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Otts Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent with Bro. Glenn Boman officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Baptist Church Cemetery in Lee County.

Pauline Guyton

SULLIGENT, Ala. - Pauline Faye Forth Guyton, 80, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Ala., after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Barboursville, W.Va., to the late Russell and Ella Black Forth. She lived in Greenwood Springs and Priestville, and in Sulligent for several years. She was a homemaker and an employee of Gattman Sportswear before retiring. She loved Elvis Presley and John Wayne, and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She married Tommie Travis Guyton on March 15, 1960, in Marion, Ohio; he preceded her in death in 1979.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday,20th, at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Phillip Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in Crews Cemetery in Sulligent.

HAMILTON, Ala. - Barbara Ann Wells, 62, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, in Hamilton, Ala., after a sudden illness. She was born Jan. 28, 1945, in Amory to Ovie Lee Nabors Wells and the late Jack Wells. She had lived in Fairfax, Va., and in Hamilton, Ala., for several years. She was a Baptist. She was married to Johnny Ross Camp from 1962 to 1996. She was a former employee of the North Mississippi Medical Center and now manager of Ashwood Apartments in Hamilton, Ala. She enjoyed traveling.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, 20th, at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Keith Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Hatley Cemetery.

Vera Mann Deaton

BELMONT, MS. - Vera Mann Deaton, 99, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Golden, where she had been a resident for a number of years. She was born Jan. 9, 1908, in Mississippi to John Evan and Laura Ross Underwood Mann. She was co-founder of Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont. She was a member of Belmont First Baptist Church and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with the Rev. Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Betsy Tanner of McKinney, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Kay Deaton of Red Bay, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; a special great-niece, Pam Howard of Belmont.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Noonan C. Deaton; two sons, Otha C. Deaton in 1954 and John Lee Deaton in 1939; and a son-in-law, Marvin L. Tanner, in 2005.

The staff of Deaton Funeral Home will serve as pallbearers.

Arlis Johnson

BELMONT - Arlis Johnson, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born May 28, 1924, in Lee County to William E. and Ora Payne Johnson. He was an employee of the Mississippi State Highway Department for 31 years. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Belmont.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at New Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. William McClellan officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont is in charge of the arrangements.

William Hoyt Keeton Sr.

RED BAY, Ala. - William Hoyt Keeton Sr., 73, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Golden.

He was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Alabama to H.L. and Lola Bostick. He was president of Keeton Oil Company and Southern Grocers Inc. for 46 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Men's Club. He was a member of the Red Bay Lions Club, where he was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Award. He was a charter member of the Red Bay Athletic Boosters Club and was inducted into the Franklin County Sports Hall of Fame. The Red Bay Walking Trail was named in his honor. He was the recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame in 2004 and a charter member of the Redmont Country Club.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church in Red Bay with the Rev. Dallas Culver and Dr. Dwayne McDuff officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Peggy Keeton of Red Bay; two daughters, Kathy Hale (Sammy) and Lisa Davis (Brooks), both of Red Bay; two sons, William Hoyt "Butch" Keeton Jr. (Suzy) of Golden and Hal Keeton (Shala) of Red Bay; two sisters, Jean Lambert Gresham of Athens, Ala., and Sarah Cobb of Prattville, Ala.; one brother, Herman A. ZION, Ill. - Claude E. Pounders, 65, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Condell Hospital in Libertyville, Ill. He was born Jan. 27, 1942, in Dennis and moved to Zion after high school. He was a carpenter and a member of the Zion-Benton Moose. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals fan, and enjoyed walking at Gurnee Mills.

Hubert Theo White, 72, of Helicon Community passed away on September 27, 2007 in Cullman.

He was born on January 21, 1935 in Wedowee, AL to Hubert D White and Cleo Kitchens White.

He served his country in the United States Army.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-9 PM at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2PM at Liberty Baptist Church in Helicon Community. Rev. Dejuan Reese and Rev. Patrick Cleghorn will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Orville White, age 72, of Brilliant passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Friday September 28, 2007.

Luther Collier age 82 of Estero, FL formerly of Beaverton, AL died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in the Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL.

Born in Beaverton, AL he is the Son of the late John H. and Lela Otts Collier. He had lived in Louisville, KY, Nashville, TN and Estero, FL. He was a truck driver and retired from Dealers Transport after 25 years. He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the US Army. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a member of the Estero Baptist Church.

He is survived by Two Sons, Keith Collier of Lake Placid, FL and Scott Collier of Atlanta, GA, A Sister, Gene Pettit of Florence, AL and Several Grandchildren.

Services held Tuesday September 18, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Guin with burial in the Beaverton Cemetery. Bro. Randy Collier officiating.

Denver Nichols age 79 of Guin, AL Passed away Saturday September 29, 2007 at the Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton, AL.

Born in Marion County to the late Arvie and Sara Green Nichols. He was a resident of the Guin area most of his life and was a member of the Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WW II Serving in the army and had retired from the Munsingwear plant in Guin, AL.

Survived by his Wife: Willie Virginia Bookout Nichols of Guin, AL, Three Daughters: Margie Williams of Hackleburg, AL, Carolyn Carter and Marilyn Chandler both of Sulligent, AL, Two Sons: James Loyd Nichols of Hackleburg, AL and Michael Gardner of Winfield, AL, Two Sisters: Quillia Nichols and Lessie Burgett both of Hamilton, AL, Three Brothers: Wesley Nichols of Hamilton, AL, Billy Paul Nichols of Hackleburg, AL and Lelan Nichols of Hodges, AL.; 11 Grandchildren; and 18 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Three Brothers: Oneal Nichols, Lemon Nichols and Orion Nichols, and One Sister: Lizzie Willford.

Trentelman, Robert Richard - Age 65 - Sulligent, AL

Robert Richard Trentelman, age 65, of Sulligent, AL passed away Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, AL after a six months battle with brain cancer.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.  Services held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10 A.M. from the Sulligent First Baptist Church where his body will lie in state at the church from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. just prior to service time. Burial in the Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. John Nicholson officiating.

He was born in Peoria, IL to the late Robert O. Trentelman and Elma Huey Trentelman Dobbelaire.  Mr. Trentelman and his family transferred with Hyster Co. to Sulligent, AL in 1971. He retired from Hyster/ NACCO having put in 42 years of service with the company. Richard was a member, deacon, and trustee of Sulligent First Baptist Church. He worked with stained glass and made pieces for many folks in the surrounding area as well as making beautiful stained glass windows for several churches.

Mr. Trentelman is survived by his Wife, Carolyn Trentelman of Sulligent, AL.; 2 Daughters: Cindy (Danny Otts) of Crews, AL. and Danita (Brad) Huie of Decatur, AL.; 2 Sons, David (Christy) Trentelman of Beaverton, AL. and Dana Trentelman of Sulligent, AL.; 5 Grandchildren, Jacob and Elaine Otts, Tanner Trentelman, Evan and Brandon Huie; One Brother: Eldon Trentelman of Camdenton, MO.

Norma Thomas “Buddy” Agerton, age 77, Fayette, AL. passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007, at the Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Born on Sept. 21, 1930, in Jasper, she was the daughter of the late A.C. and Merle McLemore Thomas. She was retired from the First National Bank and a member of the Fayette First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Fayette with burial in the Fayette City Cemetery. Bro. Scott Davis was the officiating minister.

Survivors include her husband - A.V. Agerton; daughter - Sherry (David) Corbett, Winfield; step-daughter - Linda (Sammy) Renfroe, Fayette; sister - Faye (Phil) Ouellet, Mechanicsburg, Penn.; grandson - David Corbett; step-granddaughters - April (Brent) Tolbert, Calera, and Christy (Keith) Birmingham, Bessemer; two great-grandsons; one niece; and several nephews.

Jimmy Ray “Bodie” Canterberry, 42, Winfield, AL. passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, as result of a four-wheeler accident.

Born on April 5, 1965, in Fayette County, he was the son of Betty LaGwin Norris Canterberry and the late Cecil Ray Canterberry. He was a lifelong resident of Winfield. He was previously employed with Carver Cabinet Doors for the past three years.
 
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home with burial in the Musgrove Chapel Cemetery. James Wyers and Bryan Howell were the officiating ministers.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his step-father - Bill Foster, Winfield; wife - Melissa Woodruff Canterberry; step-son - Adam Woodruff, Winfield; step-daughters - Jessica Busha, Cullman, and Leslie Cox and Ashley Woodruff, both of Guin; six step-grandchildren; sister - Johnna (Jacky) Bridgeman; special nephew - Andy Bridgeman; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives

Eva Cantrell Davis, age 92, of Winfield, AL., passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Winfield, AL.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Dr. Charles Ballew was the officiating minister.

Born on Dec. 23, 1914, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Weatherly and Surville Humber Cantrell. She was a resident of Winfield most of her life and was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter - Joan (Tommy) Howell, Winfield; son - Allan (Linda) Davis, Deatsville; grandchildren - Ed Howell, Jasper, and Kerri (Jody) Wilson, Wetumpka; great-grandchild - A.J. Wilson; sister - Myra Jones, Orlando, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Culbert Davis; infant sister; and sisters, Leona Phillips and Louise Stanley.

Born December 15, 1950, in Marion County, he was the son of Vernell Self Hulsey and the late Roland Odell Hulsey. He was a resident of Michigan until moving to Marion County 15 years ago. He was a member of the Gold Mine Church of Christ.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his step-father - Merlin Stough, Brilliant; son - Danny (Gealdine) Hulsey, Brilliant; grandchildren - Carleigh and McKenzie Hulsey; brother - Roger Odell Hulsey, Brilliant; sisters - Brenda (Dean) Bruger, Addison, Mich., and Linda (Russ) Egbert, Guymon, Okla.; special great-niece - Jayda Gann; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Hulsey, Jr.; brother, Ronnie Lee Hulsey; and wife, Beverly Hulsey.

Robert Preston Lucas, 91, Detroit, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2007, in the Golden Living Center in Winfield.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. Venlon Bradford, Bro. Tim Harris and Bro. Sidney McLeod were the officiating ministers.

Born on December 24, 1915, in Lamar County, he was the son of the late William Asbury and Nancy Nora Northington Lucas. He was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit. He was previously employed as a bus driver for Gardener Bus Line in Minor Heights and for the U.S. Steel (TCI) in Birmingham.

Survivors include his daughters - Hazel Irvin (William) Jones, Amory, MS., Linda Lucas (Gerald) Spann, Winfield, AL., and June Lucas (Tommy) Crowe, Suwanee, GA.; sons - William Grafton (Rosa) Lucas, Hamilton, AL., and Robert Lee (Debbie) Lucas, Becker, MS.; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great- grandchildren; and sisters - Birtie Mae Roberts, Hamilton, AL., and Alice Phillips, Sulligent, AL.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lona Mae Gosa Lucas; brothers, Roston Arthur Lee, Johnny, and Kelly Lucas; and sister, Laura Gosa.

Lucille Duke, age 90 of Red Bay, AL. died September 24, 2007 at the Care Center of Red Bay.

She was born April 16, 1917 in Franklin County to Icie and Susie Barksdale Belcher. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Atwood Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Guy Duke, and son Dwight Duke.

Graveside services were held September 26, 2007 at the Holly Springs Cemetery with Bro. Charles Holcomb officiating.

She is survived by sister, Gimilla Barker of Red Bay; daughter, Donnie Duke of Red Bay; granddaughter, Jessica Duke of Nashville, Tenn.; and grandson, Jarod Duke of Missouri.

Mrs. Bobbie Sue Eads Cunningham, age 80 of Eldridge, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 in the DCH Regional Medical Center at Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Cunningham was born on March 4, 1927 in Alabama a daughter of Pratt and Alma Brymer Eads; lifelong resident of Eldridge; widow of Bill Sams and Clyde Cunningham; and a member of Eldridge Methodist Church. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Allen Sams; two brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Millie (Scott) Blair of Eldridge; one grandson, Jeff Blair of Eldridge; one granddaughter, Cyndy (Tony) Hallmark of Winfield; one great-grandson, McKinley Hallmark; one brother, Harold Eads of Charleston SC; one sister, Audrey Draper of Nashville, TN; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
