Ms. Beatrice Colburn Norris

Beatrice Colburn Norris, age 79, of Guin, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010, in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Norwood Funeral Home, Guin, Alabama. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010, Norwood Funeral Home Chapel, Guin, Alabama.

Ms. Norris was born in Guin, Alabama to the late Emmitt and Velma Colburn. She lived in Guin, Alabama all her life and had retired from Health-Tex. She attended the Harmony Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by 1 granddaughter, Amanda (Charles) McClain of Fayette, AL.; a great-grandson, Joshua McClain of Fayette, AL.; and 1 sister, Christine (Dale) Harbin of Guin, AL.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1 son, Lonnie Norris; 1 daughter, Shelia Couch; 1 grandson, Jonathan; and 2 brothers, Woodrow Colburn and Herman Colburn.
