Winfield, AL - Joe Donald Files, age 61, of Winfield, Alabama (formerly of Carbon Hill), passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.

Visitation, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2011, at Miles Funeral Home, Winfield, Alabama. Funeral service, 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2011, at McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home. Burial, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Mcdade Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Files; 2 sons, David (Rene) Hensman and Jeremy Files; 1 daughter, Sheri (David) Ross; 3 brothers, Bill (Debbie) Files, Paul Franklin (Pat) Files, and Ricky Files; 1 sister, Barbara (Leon) Crittenden; 6 grandchildren, Katie, Jake, Joshua, Sam, Josh, and Joe; as well as many special nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
