Corrine Frederick Childers, age 73, of Vina, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Russellville Hospital in Russellville, Alabama.
Funeral service, Friday, July 9, 2010 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay, Alabama. W.D. Humphres officiating. Burial in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, Alabama.
Ms. Childers was born September 9, 1936 in Marion County, Alabama to William and Ruthie Clark Frederick. She was a Homemaker and attended Williams Sanctuary.
She is survived by 3 children, Nelson Childers, Savannah, TN., Foster Childers, Russellville, AL. and Carol Davis, Vina, AL.; 3 brothers, Charlie (Janette) Frederick, Hackleburg, AL., and Franklin (Glenis) Frederick, Hackleburg, AL., and Pete (Sherri) Frederick, Birmingham, AL.; 2 sisters, Rosa (Clarence) Yates, Birmingham, AL., and Francis (Wade) Colburn, Birmingham, AL.; 5 grandchildren, John Childers, Wesley Childers, Evan Childers, Eddie Dees and LaDava Davis; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruthie Clark Frederick; an infant son; 2 sisters; and the father of her children, John Alfred Childers.
