Mrs. Nellie Fay Nichols Sanderson

Fay Nichols Sanderson, age 77, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday night, July 30, 2009, at the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, AL.

Visitation, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., Friday night, July 31, 2009 at the Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church in Hamilton, AL. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. Bro. Bobby Duncan and Josh Williams officiating. Burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanderson was born May 29, 1932, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late David Lem and Nola Palmer Nichols.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Brenda (Roger) Nixon; 3 sons, Buddy (Debbie) Sanderson, David (Melinda) Sanderson, and Eddie Sanderson; 2 sisters, Verna Williams, and Betty Taylor; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
