Ms. Barbara J. Green
Barbara J. Green, age 67, of Lake Havasu, Arizona, passed away Wednesday night,
July 29, 2009, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida. She was formerly
of Hamilton, Alabama.
Visitation, 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night, August 4, 2009 at New Hope Church. Funeral
service, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the New Hope Church. Walter
Jaggers officiating. Burial in New Hope Cemetery.
Ms. Green was born June 14, 1942 in Hamilton, Alabama to the late James Hamilton
Green and Vera Palmer Green. She was occupied in Housekeeping in the Hotel
business. She was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed work and travelling.
She is survived by 2 sons, Michael W. Brand, Florence, AL, and Monty W. Brand,
Winter Haven, FL; 2 daughters, Myra J. Tice, Hamilton, AL, and Melissa Lane,
Hamilton, AL; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 11 brothers and
sisters.
