Mrs. Cynthia Franks

Cynthia Franks, age 69 of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Saturday night, August 8, 2009 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., Monday night, August 10, 2009 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Bryan Price officiating.  Burial in Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg, Alabama.

Mrs. Franks was born September 10, 1939 in Marion County, Alabama to the late Thomas Zen Hudson and Mae Bell Lacy Hudson.  She was a Homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Coy Franks; 4 children, Sharleen Stidham, Panama City, FL., Melanie Raffell, Hamilton, AL., Mike Franks, FL., Scott Franks, Hamilton, AL.; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dale Frederick, Forestdale, AL., Sue Ingle, Warrior, AL., and Virginia Southern; and "adopted children in heart", Susan Carroll, Elizabeth Lawrence, and Dot Porter, all of Panama City, FL.
