Opal L. Crowe Belk, age 82, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009.

Visitation, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Burial in Valhalla Cemetery.

Mrs. Belk was a member of Wilkes Baptist Church, Midfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Donie Lucas Crowe; her husband, Clifton Belk and her son, Gary Clifton Belk. She is survived by her daughter, June (Roger) Edwards and her grandson, Blake Edwards.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Self Nursing Home for the love and care they gave to Ms. Opal.
