Ms. Nellie Mae Cox Armstrong

Nellie Mae Cox Armstrong, age 84 of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, Alabama.

Visitation, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2010, Fulton Bridge Baptist Church, Hamilton, Alabama, until the funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 26th at the church. Burial in Sullins "School House" Cemetery. Dr. Dan Duncan officiating.

Mae was born June 18, 1925 in Marion County, Alabama to the late Rose Ella Feltman and Henry Cox. She worked as a Factory Worker and NTN Bower in Hamilton.

She is survived by 1 son, Larry Armstrong; 2 daughters, Vickie Sanderson and Peggy Mitchell; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Eunice Stone, Dorothy Spreag, Carolyn Taylor, Linda Quinn, and Loretta Howell; 5 brothers, Burlon Cox, Belton Cox, Elton Cox, Jimmy Cox, and JR Cox.
