Mr. Rickey Hollis

Rickey Hollis, age 60, of Guin, Alabama, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 in the Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Norwood Funeral Home, Guin, Alabama. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Guin, Alabama. Burial in the Love Joy Cemetery, Beaverton, Alabama. Bro. Scott Stokes and Bro. Israel Price officiating.

Mr. Hollis was born in Winfield, Alabama to Arvil "Buck" and Evelyn Woods Hollis. Married to Maedean Busbee Hollis, he had lived in Guin, Alabama most of his life and was a member of the Gu-Win Baptist Church.

He is survived by his Wife, Maedean Busbee Hollis, Guin, AL.; his parents, Arvil "Buck" and Evelyn Woods Hollis, Guin, AL.; 1 daughter, Tracey Lynn (Shannon) Webb of Guin, AL.; 3 sons, Darren (Myra) Hollis, Guin, AL., Jason (April) Hollis, Guin, AL, and Rodney (Chasity) Hollis, Winfield, AL.; 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Virginia Jones, Winfield, Winfield, AL., and Irene Whitehead of Guin, AL.; 2 brothers, Bill Hollis, Millport, AL., and Bobby Hollis, Guin, AL.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mack Hollis and a twin brother at birth.
